The Leisure Manager Role:
You will be responsible for the operation of the Aqua Park Suffolk, ensuring that customer health and safety is the highest priority of all employees.
Significant previous management experience in the leisure industry, in a role which involves managing a high volume of customers.
Coming from a leisure and water sports background, you will hold a current lifeguarding qualification (NPLQ or OWL) and preferably be a qualified TA, Lifeguard Trainer Assessor.
Hold a valid First Aid at Work qualification for the summer 2019 season
With a strong interest in health & safety and experience of mitigating risks.
You must have experience of undertaking detailed risk assessments in your previous role.
You will be methodical in terms of producing documentation required for the safe operation of the park and maintaining our records.
Strong commercial flare with an operational background.
Computer literate, to learn bespoke booking systems and manage park correspondence.
Able to keep calm under pressure.
You will have proven ability at managing all aspects of a team, from coaching for performance to managing conduct issues.
An excellent communicator, with experience of dealing with the public.
With a practical approach to managing the maintenance tasks both on and off the water.
In peak season you must be prepared to work 6 days a week. (£1020 per week)
You will receive full training in order to represent the Aqua Park.
The role requires you to have the right to work in the UK.
Fixed Term Contract is from 9th May 2019 until 15th September.
