We are looking for a PADI dive instructor to give us a hand taking people diving and teaching courses at our small dive center and eco-lodge in Little Corn Island, Nicaragua. Even though business is rather slow at present (due to COVID-19), we do still have some divers coming to dive with us. We are hoping to find an instructor who would be willing to help us at the dive center when we have clients interested in diving but also to assist us with volunteering in a few projects around the eco-lodge for a couple of hours a day when no diving is scheduled.
When there is diving going on, we pay a commission for fun dives and courses.
When no diving is scheduled, then we ask for a daily contribution of $9 and a couple of hours of volunteering, to help us cover the cost of your meals and accommodation (these are provided), in order to make the position sustainable.
We provide all meals, and accommodation in the form of a small room with electricity and a single bed. The accommodation is right at the dive shop and directly opposite the Caribbean Sea and a beautiful white sand beach. There are showers and bathrooms just outside the room, complete with bath towels, organic soaps, shampoos, and conditioners – all included as part of the position while you are here with us! You will have low living costs, and a stunning, unique, and magical place to live, work and dive.
Ideally, we would prefer a bilingual instructor, with at least English and Spanish spoken.
